Anyone attempting to eat healthier has probably heard a certain mantra repeatedly: “don’t cook your veggies, you’ll kill all the nutrients!” And depending who you talk to, that may not be all – there’s a certain faction who’ll swear to you that no food needs to be cooked (animals don’t cook, why should we?) Well some of those opinions certainly hold a lot more water than others – but it turns out that there’s more to the whole subject than we may have thought.
